Hiroko Omori was born and raised in Japan where she graduated from Tokyo Mode Gakuen with a degree in fashion design specializing in knitwear. Her first steps in the Japanese fashion industry where in women’s ready-to-wear at Christian Dior and Yohji Yamamoto.
She moved to Paris in the early 90’s and after acquiring several years of experience in a traditional fashionable Parisian costume jewelry factory, she founds the label, ORNER, to design accessories under her own brand.
"Orner" in French means "to adorn". The emblem of the ORNER logo is the solar cross, an ancestral symbol of harmony, a positive allegory for talisman jewels.
Creating accessories that are the final touch to an outfit and reveal the wild side the beholder is her longtime motivation.
