 Inspired by his experience as a stonemason, Gaëtan Essayie made a natural transition from stone to metal, and opened his own silversmith studio in Biot, France, in 2007. Mentored at the jewelry studio of Claude and Thierry Pelletier, creative peers and close friends of his late father Denis Essayie, Gaëtan cultivated an aesthetic where beauty is bound in functionality and restraint—an approach mirroring his father’s view that sobriety is the essence of elegance. Gaëtan’s craftsmanship shows a careful balancing of volume and precise yet fluid line.
